The central area accounts for more of a third of the business in MEU including the biggest continental market (DE). Consumer Insights & Analytics DACH is responsible to develop and leverage consumer and market understanding and turn these into business implications and recommendations for the most relevant countries in the region.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Understand the Core Consumer and the growth consumers, the laws of growth, helping to bring each to life in the most inspiring way to help marketing to get under the skin of consumers

  • Have strong ability to mine & combine insights from multiple sources with consumer and business knowledge, and synthesize to help providing clear and compelling recommendations for concrete growth activities

  • Have excellent ability to use Nielsen & Household-panel-data to identify drivers of brand/ business performance followed by clear communication toward business team

  • Provide understanding of performance of advertising activities and development of brand equity

  • Liaise with Shopper Insights and other parts of the Insights team to learn and leverage broad shopping and consumer knowledge

  • Leverage insights derived from the Demand Spaces framework to challenge for growth opportunities for MDLZ

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Social Science, Business Administration, Marketing preferred)

  • Min. 6 - 8 years working experience in commercial area (preferably FMCG), min. 5 years of market research

  • Cross-country experience, demonstrated ability to work across cultures and in remote teams

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to partner and communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization

  • Creative & strategic thinking as well as a drive for results

  • Able to partner well with marketing, sales and external agencies

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Fluency in English; German would be advantageous
