How you will contribute

  • Lead the data harmonization and governance efforts within the S4/o9 Program, identifying and being the driving force behind the data harmonization opportunities, while also spearheading end-to-end process design for data orchestration.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders within and outside of the Program to identify potential data harmonization opportunities linked to process standartization and ensure alignment with overall Program objectives and existing data governance framework.

  • Manage and mentor a team of domain leads responsible for various data domains, guiding them to identify and capitalize on data harmonization & process opportunities effectively.

  • Develop, maintain, and report on execution of the plan for data harmonization, emphasizing the exploration and exploitation of data harmonization opportunities, including dependencies and risk management.

  • Foster collaboration and communication to address data-related challenges and facilitate solutions.

  • Lead a comprehensive data cataloging of program-made data assets, definitions, and lineage.

  • In collaboration with the Data Governance Office (DGO), lead efforts to establish governance processes for emerging data areas, such as reference data, with a keen eye on harnessing data harmonization opportunities.

  • Communicate Program progress, challenges, and successes related to data harmonization and the identification of harmonization opportunities to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support for these initiatives.

What you will bring

The ideal candidate should possess a diverse skill set and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in fulfilling the requirements of the role:

  • Proven experience in data management , with a focus on data process and governance , preferably in the context of SAP S4hana implementations in multinational FMCG environment

  • Experience in identifying and implementing data harmonization opportunities to drive process efficiency and standardization

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals

  • Strong track record of driving change and innovation , with the ability to think outside the box and embrace an agile and growth mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a matrix organization , effectively collaborating and achieving results without direct reporting lines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across business and technical functions

  • Understanding of data cataloging tools and techniques, as well as metadata management principles

  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to data management and governance

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to translate business requirements into practical data solutions

  • Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication in English , with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders
