You will develop and implement accounting practices and procedures in the NA Fixed Asset/Capital area. You will provide and interpret data from accounting records and coordinate accounting services and integrate them with operating needs. In this role, you will oversee the management of such processes of all aspects of fixed assets, including daily management, intercompany cross charges and transfers (FA), new accounting rules, annual impairment review, and lead/coordinate FA related matters of all venture entities as well as any projects involving FA.
How will you contribute
Own/lead Capital Accounting and Fixed Asset activity and processes end to end for North America Plants, CS&L locations, and Facilities as well as Global R&D & IS, plus additional oversight of venture entities
Provide oversight and point of escalation for basic activities completed in FA/CP areas by our MBS partners, plus intangible amortization review
Serve as a liaison between our numerous NA & Global colleagues/customers and our MBS partners
Perform, oversee, and coordinate the more complex tasks related to FA & CP
Lead local projects or support global projects to drive for harmonization, efficiencies and improvements to ways of working of both FA & CP processes and systems. as well as ensure monthly quarterly, annual, & ad-hoc activities are completed accurately and on a timely basis
Manage and advise on Fixed Asset aspects of any divestiture or acquisition activity
Manage the policy and accounting treatment review, ensure accurate and proper financial records, and also provide/interpret data from accounting/HFM records as needed
Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with corporate policies/processes

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, CPA preferred
6 + years of Accounting Experience
Experience in NA Fixed Asset / Capital Accounting
Experience with financial systems, particularly FA SAP and strong excel skills, technical skills, problem solving, challenging assertive approach
Consumer Packaged Goods experience is strongly preferred
Proven multi-tasking and time management capabilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience in process management and process improvements, as well as ability to develop strong relationships / partnerships with all stakeholders
Proven leadership in project management, ability to interpret accounting policy and financial data
Possess critical thinking skills, quantitative and analytical skills with ability to interpret data and communicate impact.
Knowledge of company policies, procedures and GAAP
Ability to work with details/understand business implications
