Serve as Mondelēz lead for our Commercial Customer Service and Logistics (CS&L) team and locations to ensure all Quality and Food Safety expectations are continuously met or exceeded with a focus on End-to-End Quality, including meeting customer expectations of quality.

How you will contribute

Drive End to End Quality with focus on Customer Needs:

• Responsible for day-to-day Quality strategy execution in partnership with CS&L to assure Consumer Inspired Quality from End to End in the NA region (USA, Canada, Mexico)

• Oversee CS&L quality scorecard targets and provide technical support for action plans executed by team to improve customer experience

• Implement Corporate Quality initiatives for distribution centers, branch locations, transportation and on shelf at customer

• Utilize technology to support a digital future to enable an improved consumer and customer experience

• Partner with CS&L leadership to ensure consistent quality delivery

• Develop Customer quality strategy including product performance on customer shelf and programs to increase customer satisfaction

Ensure Foundational Quality and Food Safety Management System:

• Ensure all team members understand how to maintain quality and food safety throughout product distribution

• Provide training required to ensure quality capability throughout CS&L organization

• Oversee Hold and Release process and systems execution at all distribution center locations, including ensuring timely disposition

• Build and maintain best practices to ensure Customer’s receive consistent products that meet their expectations

Ensure accurate traceability capabilities within distribution network:

• Verify and support activities to drive compliance with FDA FSMA Sanitary Transport and Intentional Adulteration rules and all Mondelēz Quality Policies and expectations

Operational Excellence:

• Lead initiatives to reduce product damage seen throughout network to ensure the perfect product reaches the shelves for consumers

• Oversee process to repair and recover damaged pallets, while maintaining quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements, Improve pallet integrity programs

Customer Collaboration:

• Understand and compile expectations of customer’s

• Serve as the Quality expert to track, trend, appropriately close-out all customer complaints and technical inquiries

• Support implementation of Customer scorecards, including Quality metrics

• Partner to drive customer improvement plans for quality

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or other related science field

Job specific requirements:

  • 8+ years of food safety and quality experience

  • Strong supply chain and logistics experience

  • GFSI Certification

  • Previous roles partnering with external partners or managing external communication preferred

  • Integrated Lean Six Sigma experience preferred

Travel requirements:

60% Travel
