Mission: You will manage a team of material and supply planners for Clif Bar, ensuring that mid to long-term production/material plans are in place in line with approved business plans.

Location: This is a hybrid position based at our East Hanover, NJ HQ office with in-office expectations of minimum 2 days per week.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Prepare short and long-term E2E supply chain plans for items produced for further review and approvals

  • Lead KPIs including (but not limited to) meeting or exceeding customer fill rate, delivering finished goods inventories at or below target levels and meeting waste objectives

  • Work closely with internal and external manufacturing, marketing, sales, materials, and replenishment functions to deliver the category's goals

  • Deliver performance against approved master and detailed schedules and long-range plans (including capacity considerations) and material requirement plans using system tools

  • Be part of the construction of the supply review and escalating issues

  • Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets and waste reduction to meet company KPIs

  • Proactively and timely report any production or Vendor/shipping/carrier issues, and enlist supplier, transporter, planning teams to pre-empt any business impact and/or accommodate changes production and/or delivery schedules as appropriate.

  • Deliver supply chain solutions to achieve Growth Sufficiency.Leverage I2M and Agile ways of working to address challenges with timelines of Integrity.

  • Adopt IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working and work on Supply Network capabilities to drive value and loss elimination.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • Over 5 years of experience in supply chain, economic, financial, logistics, or similar role, along wi strong business acumen ideally within an FMCG/CPG environment

  • Experience in driving supply review and participation in an IBP cycle

  • Knowledgeable about leading practice supply planning and end-to-end supply chain concepts

  • Agility/Creative Problem Solving

  • Cross-functional navigation

  • People management and development

More about this role

Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, required.

Job specific requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, economic, financial, logistics, or similar role

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, intermediate skills in Excel required

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to successfully partner with cross functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills

Work schedule: This is a full-time, hybrid role based in East Hanover, NJ with in-office expectations of minimum 2 days per week.
