You will develop the 0-18-month IBP forecast by category, brands and at Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) level. You will coordinate, challenge and influence building blocks with input from Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders. In addition, you will review disaggregated short-term demand plan, which includes SKU/Location mix and weekly pacing. Finally, you will provide the finalized detailed demand plan by SKU to Supply planners and adjust it based on feedback(s) from Supply planners and/or Commercial teams.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Lead and maintain demand planning process for Ukraine & Moldova in-line with company’s IBP process and ensure cross-functional alignment.

  • Coordinate all kinds of activities between departments in the frame of Sales Forecasting process.

  • Be strong partner of Country leadership team for business decisions, provide necessary demand analysis, evaluations, information for effective demand management.

  • Liaise with the Commercial and Operational teams and develop ways to continuously improve communication and ways of working between the functions to support the delivery of the business KPIs.

  • Manage forecast compilation process, which includes owning the short-term weekly plan and the long-term forecast.

  • Perform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error(s) and bias, and share output with appropriate leadership team.

  • Be involved in management of SKU rationalization for the category, ensuring continuing focus on decomplexity.

  • Be involved in special projects implementation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Play key role and manage full scope of Demand planning process for Ukraine & Moldova, including weekly, monthly, quarterly demand up-date as a part of IBP cycle; leading Country/category Demand planning process in-line with IBP. Demand consolidation and presentation.

  • Ensure the country/category demand is generated in a collaborative environment, coordinating cross-functionally and considering all inputs (including in-market sales, sell-in, distributors stocks).

  • Make sure regular and ad-hoc performance analysis and reporting are in place, including monthly preparation and presentation of results to Country management with analytical comments (deviation analysis, main drivers, etc.).

  • Develop demand recommendations related to New Product launches and projects.

  • Responsible for monthly tracking, analysis and continuous improvement of KPIs: Sales Forecast Accuracy, Bias.

  • Responsible for ageing products tracking and action plan development and implementation with Sales, CP&A, Marketing to avoid ageing risk.

  • Control of SKUs switches and accuracy of plans for SKUs which will be delisted.

  • Develop & optimize demand planning processes and systems, implement best practice in the accountable area to ensure increased accuracy and robustness of demand forecasting for the accountable group of products.

More about this role

Job specific requirements:

  • University Degree

  • At least 3+ years of relevant professional experience (Demand Planning, Sales Planning) in a fast-moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods environment, preferably in food or other fast moving, dynamic industry where shelf life is a constraint

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) & organizational skills with capability to ensure planning process & to report and produce data that can allow Business to take actions

  • Experience with SAP ERP and planning systems (APO)

  • Experience within an IBP/S&OP environment

  • Computer literacy (Excel advanced user)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills – and able to understand and interpret data, present and develop reporting

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and with frequently changed environment

  • Pro-activeness and drive for result

  • Team player who can work with cross-functional teams on a daily basisFluency in English, both written and speaking
