Mondelez is currently looking for a Social Listening Associate Manager to join the Global Insights & Analytics Team and help drive its social Intelligence vision and capabilities. The primary role of the Social Intelligence Associate Manager will be to provide social media-based insights across a broad range of initiatives and proactively identify opportunities to grow our businesses. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience, pulling and analyzing data from social insights tools and solid understanding of social media metrics and KPIs. He/she should be able to integrate learning and connect the dots across various data points and create powerful narratives to engage key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess strong passion and empathy for consumers and able to uncover insights and digital trends affecting how consumers are engaging with our brands and competitors.

He/She will report directly to the Social Intelligence Lead and will be part of a very dynamic and highly talented team of Strategists, Analysts and Insights practitioners. This person will be a key business partner to Marketing, Media, R&D, Sales and external Digital partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively explore and curate insights using social listening tools and integrate it with other data sources to develop meaningful and powerful stories that can pinpoint opportunities for growth across the business

  • Find new applications for Social Listening data and help embed a culture of test and learn, challenging the status quo and finding more effective and innovative tools of learning about consumers and shoppers

  • Partner with experts on trend-spotting, form hypotheses for testing and influence business decisions on product renovation and innovation

  • Support Marketing teams by identifying real-time content learnings to enable in-the-moment optimization of campaigns

  • Manage ad hoc projects, including training teams to enhance understanding of digital landscape and applications relevant to Insights function

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

Knowledge: including education, qualifications and training

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Communications/Advertising or related field, preferably in Digital Marketing, Emerging Media)

Functional/ Technical Competencies

  • Able to curate insights from social media tools and use visualization to create powerful stories about consumers/shoppers

  • Able to prioritize across multiple business needs and identify projects with high impact/value

  • Able to integrate results from different sources and create a holistic view, understanding what it says vs. what it means and recommending business actions

  • Able to partner well with diverse teams including Marketing, Media and external social media partners

  • Familiar with common market research methodologies, including surveys, ethnographies, focus groups etc. and non-traditional methods such as Social listening, online immersions etc, preferred.

  • Able to develop best practice principles on social listening and find the right forums to share learnings across the organization.

Experience

  • Extensive and hands-on social listening experience, working in social listening agencies or digital functions within CPG, Ad agencies/Beauty industry/Digital Media agencies and related fields

  • Experience working within global teams and reporting to manager based in another market/country

  • Experience working with very diverse teams from multiple markets and functions

  • Experience in managing/working in matrix structures

  • Experience in developing visually compelling insights that can influence and impact on business decisions

Languages

  • Fluent English, written and spoken
