To support our Vision 2030 Growth Strategy Mondelēz ANZ has invested in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built, fully automated sorting and retrieval warehouse and distribution centre in Melbourne’s West, Truganina.

As a result, we have some very exciting career opportunities, come and play a crucial role in the set-up and operations of our new mega Distribution Centre.

We’re currently on the lookout for a passionate Shift Leader to join our Co-Pack team on Afternoon Shift (3PM-11PM). Reporting into the Area Lead for Co-Pack this role is responsible for the Afternoon Shift operations within the Co-Pack area.

How you will contribute

  • Actively contribute to operational meetings, providing updates and reporting on the delivery of KPIs.

  • Labour management for the shift, partnering with internal recruitment teams and 3P labour agencies.

  • Partner with broader teams and operators to understand RCA (root cause analysis) of critical or high frequency issues, supporting the implementation of corrective actions.

  • Support a high performing team culture, through effective training and regular coaching conversations.

  • Lead a safety first approach, proactively coaching team members on safe work procedures, hazards and incident management.

  • A passion for continuous improvement playing a key role in the site’s implementation of IL6S (lean manufacturing).

What you will bring

  • Experience leading a high performing, engaged team within a manufacturing environment

  • A safety-first mindset

  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement processes and implementation.

  • Working knowledge of SAP (advantageous)

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (excel/word)

  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, taking a proactive approach to problem solving
