Support and partner with the Core Centric Team in the delivery of the SQCDSM (Safety Quality Cost Delivery Sustainability Morale) metrics and support IL6S (TPM Phase Progression) for the section/area by the role modeling of FI tools and HPO principles..

How you will contribute

Functional Responsibilities:

  • IL6S Co-Leader of the section/area level. Responsible for supporting the development of the masterplan for the section to deliver and sustain expected business results. (10%)

  • Support loss elimination for the section/area by executing, coaching, and building capability through problem solving activities (i.e. 5 Why, RCA, 12-Step, etc) with the operators, mechanics, and core-centric team. (50%)

  • Support loss intelligence for the section/area by executing and building capability in loss analysis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, trending). (10%)

  • Participate in the section/area DMS meetings by ensuring that team activities are focused on top losses, actions and activities are addressing root cause, and losses are being sustainability eliminated through the proper application of IL6S tools. (15%)

  • Participating and qualified on up to 2 pillars (Focused Improvement potentially 1 other) including owning up to 2 plant wide pillar work processes. (15%)

  • Actively participate on at least 2 pillars (Focused Improvement and Leadership) including work process ownership (Root Cause Analysis and Solvace Administration).

  • CI and high-performance work systems experience

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities

  • Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment

  • Ability to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems

  • Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools

  • Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process

  • Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data

Education / Certifications:

  • GED, High School diploma (required)

  • Bachelors degree (required)

Job specific requirements:

  • Previous experience leading, motivating and engaging teams

  • Knowledge of Integrated Lean Six Sigma Work Systems

  • Knowledge of Measurement Methods and Statistical Analysis

  • Previous Project Management experience

  • Previous experience in Production, Process or Continuous Improvement experience within Food Manufacturing (required)

  • Familiar with FDA and USDA regulations and requirements

  • Green Belt/Black Belt (preferred)

Work schedule:

  • Monday - Friday

  • 1st shift, 40hrs

  • Schedule flexibility, may require weekend support ocasionally.
