The employee in this position is responsible for management and support in the field of occupational safety, environmental protection, fire protection at the Chocolate Factory in Oslo, in accordance with the mission, vision, values of Mondelēz International and HS&E corporate policies and standards.

Supervising legal compliance in this area, minimizing the Factory's liability and risks related to occupational safety, environmental protection, and fire protection.

Management of the scope of occupational safety, environmental protection, fire protection for a production plant, also an expert and trainer.

Possession of authorizations and qualifications, in accordance with legal requirements and HS&E corporate requirements, to carry out tasks in the field of occupational safety, environmental protection and fire protection in all sections, departments and areas of operation of the plant.

How you will contribute

You will be:

Managing, supervising, and conducting health and safety matters in accordance with legal and corporate requirements, including:

  • Compliance with legal regulations regarding occupational health and safety and building a safety culture in the plant.

  • Conducting work in accordance with applicable occupational health and safety and fire safety procedures, specifying the appropriate level of safety; responding to all types of threats affecting work safety

  • Creating strategies, long- and short-term goals in the field of occupational safety

  • Conducting post-accident investigations (accidents at work, on the way to/from work)

  • Preparing and maintaining registers, protocols, and other required documents

  • Conducting initial and periodic occupational health and safety training

  • Supervising programs aimed at reducing risk at workplaces

  • Coordinating and supervising measurements of the working environment, e.g. noise, dust, lighting

  • Informing relevant functions about HS&E results, proposing corrective and preventive actions

  • Coordinating and carrying out risk assessments at workplaces and risk assessments for machines

  • Supervising, coordinating, and carrying out tasks related to environmental protection, such as: air emissions, noise emissions, water and sewage management, waste management, etc.

  • Creating strategies, long- and short-term goals for environmental protection

  • Maintaining environmental protection documentation and reports, contacting local authorities and institutions as needed, implementing legal requirements in the field of environmental protection.

  • Maintaining records and documentation regarding environmental protection.

  • Conducting inspections and audits in the field of environmental protection

  • Supervision of investment and technical projects in the field of HS&E, fire protection

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Higher technical education

  • Fluency in Norwegian language

  • Knowledge of legal requirements regardingHS&E

  • Minimum 5years of experience working in the HS&E Department

  • Experience in managing a team
