You will manage and maintain the infrastructure and facilities of the site/office (excluding manufacturing and IT-related areas), ensuring a conducive and comfortable work environment in accordance to health, safety, environment and security policy, guidelines and requirements.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Ensure that the daily cleaning, maintenance and repairs on site infrastructure (cafeteria, pantry, office area, internal mailing etc.) are carried out as scheduled according to the agreed service levels by facilities management vendors and that all repair work is completed within an acceptable time frame

  • Manage and ensure the timely renewal of relevant licensing and permits in compliance with approved codes of practice, providing a safe workplace that is compliant with all statutory safety, environment and food safety regulations and company standards

  • Constantly review new and more efficient ways to develop site/office infrastructure to ensure that future needs are met, focusing on vendor management to implement solutions that are cost optimized ensuring reduction in accidents and achievement of sustainability targets

  • Lead and manage a small team of direct reports, providing coaching and mentoring to deliver great service to the site/office

  • Manage and monitor the facilities maintenance budget

What you will bring

  • Extensive knowledge of facilities management and safety and environment requirements and regulations with necessary certifications as a practitioner

  • Experienced in vendor management and managing service levels and efficient solutioning

  • Previous people management experience with some strong evidence of developing others

  • Previous experience developing compliance policies and standards, working cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation

  • Evidence of driving a cultural shift in relation to safety, leading new initiatives from idea through to implementation

  • Strong problem-solving agility, able to work independently and use rigorous logic and analytical skills, even with missing or ambiguous information

What you need to know about this position:

Gerenciamiento de un equipo multidisciplinario enfocado en la mejora de los servicios no productivos necesarios para la producción. Serás responsable por la calidad y la eficiencia de los distintos tipos de servicios como ser limpieza, comedor, charters, protección contra incendio, residuos, parquizado, guardarropa entre otros. Adicionalmente tendrás que gestionar un equipo para realizar el mantenimiento edilicio a las instalaciones no productivas del predio y abocar por la mejora continua en los indicadores claves de gestión.

Por ultimo y no menos importante cuidar los costos del área pero teniendo el equilibrio correcto entre costo y nivel de servicio para poder garantizar el mismo buscando productividades que hagan mas rentable nuestra área.

Negociación con los proveedores, negociación con los clientes internos, negociación con las partes sindicales y alineamientos con los pares son claves para poder llevar esta tarea y poder entregar los resultados.

Adicionalmente un conocimiento en finanzas podrá ayudarte a dar aun un mejor resultado y poder entender las fluctuaciones del mercado y las consecuentes fluctuaciones presupuestarias durante el año.

Por ultimo un solido liderazgo permitirá que puedas conducir un área de muchas influencia en los procesos en los cuales nuestro liderazgo por influencia es clave para que los procesos se lleven a cabo sin problemas.

Education / Certifications:

Ingeniero, Administración de empresas, Arquitecto (con conocimientos financieros) o carreras afines.

Job specific requirements:

Negociación, Liderazgo por influencia, tolerancia a la frustración, capacidad de adaptación, Finanzas y Pensamiento estratégico.
