How you will contribute

You will:

  • Manage ADUSA warehouse customers – Stop & Shop, Giant Landover, Giant Company

  • All Mondelez warehouse categories – confections, Halls and Bars

  • Translates BU priorities into actionable plans specific to incumbents category/ customer

  • Collaborates with the Customer, gain alignment on plan and key supporting tactics

  • Builds revenue, profit, and share by applying category management principles and business analysis best practices to identify key category drivers and implementing business recommendations to drive Mondelez & Customer growth

  • Ensure accuracy of LE by updating TPM Customer Plans based on actual performance; target continuous improvement in forecasting and TPM “Revenue Call”

  • Tailors Mondelez programs consistent with customer strategies through the development of contracts and sales presentations to sell‐in new items, merchandising events, etc.

  • Manages communications with global Supply Chain ensure accurate and timely forecasting & order management

  • Serves as information “hub” for category to Manager, Retail team and insights managers to maximize franchise growth

  • Collaborates with BU to leverage Mondelez scale. Create synergies in the Mondelez portfolio of products and utilize the flexible supply chain to drive customer profitability and Mondelez revenue, consumption and share

  • Coordinates execution at retail via Retail Execution Plan

  • Leverages the supporting role (CAM / SA) to create effective customer selling materials

  • Provides updates to management on competitive activity (both at Customer and in the market), Customer specific strategy changes, key marketplace updates and other business related activities

  • Manages new item sell in and distribution

  • Conducts category analysis by utilizing current consumer and category insights and KPI reports. Analyze the category, the customer and the consumer information to make strategic business building decisions

  • Leverages analytical support provided by Sales Services Associate (i.e. this person compiles the information into a series of pre‐defined reports) to understand customer / category implications of the information presented

  • Responsible for eventual synthesis of the information processed and reported by the Sales Services Associate

  • Recognizes opportunities to grow share / profitability at the customer.

  • Evaluates post event analytical support to determine profitability and ROI of trade funded events – determine areas for improvement and increased trade efficiencies.

  • Collaborates with the customer to continually refine future plans

  • Delegates administrative responsibilities to Sales Services Associate

  • Manages operating costs

  • Manages effective trade funds spending within budget

  • Develops effective and efficient merchandising that maximize ROI

  • Ensures timely and efficient resolution to Customer deductions

  • Reviews KPIs to determine necessary action steps to improve category profitability

  • Leads the resolution of post audit deductions (with administrative support when appropriate)

  • Adheres to auditing policy and procedures

  • Proactively manages plans – (to secure additional programming

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree is Required (Accounting/Finance, Marketing, Business Admin, Computer Science, Logistics, or Liberal Arts)

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience with an excellent understanding of business processes, systems, operational forecasting experience and analyzing consumer trends

  • Extensive knowledge of category and/or Mondelēz portfolio specific to category

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Superior interpersonal skills (verbal, non‐verbal)

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with Customer, gain trust and respect

  • Expertise in applying Mondelez tools to execute role, including TPM certification

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

  • Willing to travel 10‐20% (if applicable)
