You'll assist in implementing the operational excellence program within a specific function and/or across cross-functional projects, aiding in capability development across all IL6S Pillars. Your responsibilities include applying IL6S SWP and tools as required by the pillars. Ultimately, your role contributes to enhancing employees' skills and fostering their self-sufficiency.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Validate the benefits of implemented improvements and support the development of new standards and the qualification of members for new working processes.

  • External benchmarking ensures deployment of best practices and new tools in collaboration with internal partners where relevant.

  • Assist the IL6S Manager in ensuring IL6S tracking and monitoring in alignment with the roadmap and master plan.

  • Drive IL6S capability development in partnership with the Education & Training Pillar.

  • Facilitate communication between local pillar leaders and their regional counterparts to address feedback effectively.

  • Lead the development and implementation of global measures to benchmark IL6S progress, identify and disseminate best practices across plants and regions, fostering true Supply Chain Excellence through replication.

  • Provide training, facilitation, and coaching for IL6S leaders and employees, emphasizing the application of IL6S pillar methodologies and tools.

  • Maintain and update pillar boards as needed.

  • Take the lead in managing the FI Cycle and Productivity Cycle within the plant.

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) programs, such as TPM for manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma within the consumer goods industry.

  • Proficient in facilitation and communication, with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Experienced in change management processes.

  • Possesses logical thinking abilities and the capacity to influence others effectively.

  • Results-oriented with a readiness to navigate ambiguity.

  • Previous roles may include Continuous Improvement Manager, Team Leader, or Area Manager positions.

  • A fervent enthusiasm for teaching

Education / Certifications:

  • University degree required, preferably in Engineering or a combination of Business Management and Engineering.

Job specific requirements:

  • 4 years minimum in Lean/Six Sigma and TPM methodologies.

  • Proficient in end-to-end process synchronization.

  • Certified as a 6 Sigma Black Belt (Preferred)

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in large-scale projects or sites.

  • Proven success in leading and directing teams.

  • Exceptional skills in influencing leadership and individuals at all levels by fostering strong, collaborative, and long-lasting working relationships.

  • Hands on oriented, with solid previous experience leading manufacturing operations

  • Experience with organizational transformation (change management); High Performance Working Systems is a plus.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develops and certifies technical skills required for site pillar leaders.

  • Coordinates with the IL6S Capability Team to allocate resources for training, audits, calibration, etc., as needed.

  • Drives coaching session agendas and consolidates learnings and actions between visits.

  • Guides site Pillar teams in loss identification, productivity project establishment, and project performance tracking to ensure site targets are met.

  • Tracks the IL6S pillar masterplan and leads the IL6S capability coaches in building knowledge and skills for the Pillars teams.

  • Constructs and monitors the IL6S Phase roadmap.

  • Organizes trainings, workshops, and coaching sessions to enhance cross-pillar capabilities.
