Mondelez International is looking for: SDE Business Intelligence and Analytics


This role is the process and system expert for BI & Insights creation with advanced visualization tools like Lumira or Design Studio.

It will be responsible for the project definition, delivery, and deployment of those capabilities. The SDE will also drive applying and leveraging the existing processes, solutions and capabilities.

Additionally provides hands on support for business users for self-service reporting and data discovery initiatives.


  • A level 3 deep functional expertise in a specific processes implementation design at application level (Functional design template owner) within a sub-tower

  • Partners with Towers to understands the business requirements for advanced visualizations and business insights generation and can translate them into technical requirements and design

  • An Application Functional SME role in a project team to execute and support full project lifecycle including blueprint, build, integration testing, and implementation

  • Accountable for best practice deployment for advanced visualizations and business insights.

  • Responsible to implement new solutions as per the architecture designed by GSO, enterprise architects and solution architects, ensuring that new solution is cost optimized and easy to maintain

  • Support non-discretionary projects leveraging an external partner strategy

  • Works with data modelers to determine proper selection of data sources for effective and sustainable insights generation

  • Provides project planning and estimates to develop, implement and roll out of pilot and commercialized advanced visualization solutions

  • Supports business users in the use of Tableau, PowerBI, Lumira and Design Studio to enable self-service data discovery


Working Knowledge

  • Deep knowledge of business process and related technology solutions within the specific area of sub-tower (ISC, Enabling Function, Growth).

  • Prior understanding of BI and Data warehousing tool architecture, functions and features

  • Translation of business questions and requirements into advanced visualizations, interactive UI/data visualizations / Self Service/Dashboard using a variety of visualization tools and techniques

  • Prior experience to design and develop efficient Semantic and Reporting layers that support Self-Services as well as IT driven reports and dashboards

  • Deep understanding of approaches for an Analytics Workbench and storytelling to highlight patterns in data

  • Customizing of SAP Lumira and Design Studio, Tableau, or MS PowerBI tools to meet user needs

  • Strong understanding of SAP BW/BI, 5 years of proven experience.

  • Strong focus in building cost effective innovations in solutions with emerging technology trends

  • Experience of agile approach and hands on technology trials. 5 years of project management, preferred on SAP projects.

  • DIAL Methodology understanding

  • Advanced English level, oral and written.


  • Ability to balance theory and reality

  • Manage high volume and high complexity projects across multiple delivery location in virtual environment
