As a Data Orchestration Lead, you will be the primary liaison for the Global Data Management Team in implementing cutting-edge Data Orchestration solutions, specifically leveraging PEGA and integrating with S4 systems. Your role spans from delineating business requirements to spearheading the design, construction, implementation, and adoption phases using agile methodologies. Crucially, you'll leverage your expertise to ensure the smooth integration of new processes, methodologies, and tools across the organization. Your proactive approach will involve overcoming obstacles and championing change, serving as a catalyst for transformation among key users and end-user groups.

SAP S/4 Hana and o9 Planning Transformation is a multiyear journey and provides a significant opportunity to transform and optimize business capabilities in service of our Vision 2030. Post executive review MDLZ will proceed with a Smart Field approach, which means reviewing processes for opportunities to harmonize them, improve user interfaces, creating a digital core of systems that talk to each other, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engaging closely with key stakeholders, you'll dive deep into business objectives & requirements to meticulously plan and execute Data Orchestration initiatives.

  • Proactively takes the lead during the program's design phase, ensuring comprehensive consideration and alignment of data-related aspects with both business objectives and technical capabilities.

  • Responsible for the implementation & management of strategy and technology capabilities through PEGA CoP Framework.

  • Partners with Horizontal capability teams and other Towers and Enterprise Architects to come up with best possible user experience.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for system integration partners, orchestrating seamless coordination and integration of data processes and systems across cross-functional teams.

  • Controls costs by ensuring transparency of costs and total costs of ownership as new projects are implemented.

  • Self-educates by gathering information and learnings from peer companies, conferences, and events to develop strategic solution roadmap for the Data Orchestration area, taking emerging needs into account so a long-range plan and funding proposition can be worked out to be ready for future Data trends and challenges.

  • Ensures the Products are fit for purpose to drive business needs.

  • Promotes new and better ways of delivering solutions, specifically builds DevOps capability in the team.

  • Tracks and communicates value delivered via PEGA CoP

  • Works with Automation COE on transition of the PEGA CoP for further scale up across enterprise

  • Manages PEGA license costs and contract renewals.

More about this role

  • 4-Year Degree in Data Management, IT, Computer Science or equivalent

  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in Data Management / Data transformation, ideally in the consumer goods industry

  • 5+ years of experience in Agile

  • DAMA certifications or equivalent data certification is a plus!

  • Proven experience partnering with business functions on transformations.

  • Proven experience developing and executing successful data technology and data architecture strategies that deliver sustainable earnings and a competitive advantage.

  • Experience in working across commercial functions with ability to interact effectively with and be credible with Senior leadership.

  • SCRUM master and practical Agile experience

  • Understanding of DevOps practices and ability to implement those within product teams.

  • Proven experience managing third party vendors delivering solutions.

  • Strong experience with integrating applications/systems throughout the enterprise.

  • Familiar operating in large and complex multi-national organizations to create alignment for strategic priorities across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Agility to manage and influence in a virtual, remote, worldwide organization.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills with high levels of emotional intelligence.
