Under the guidance of Mondelēz International’s legal leader or counsel, you deliver on our legal strategy, activities, and service delivery model in a legal specialist and generalist area of focus. You use your ability to work independently, your in-depth knowledge, and significant experience in a specialty area to apply legal knowledge in the practice area and propose legal solutions and alternatives to in-house counsel.

How you will contribute

Under the guidance of Mondelēz International’s legal leader or counsel, you will deliver on our legal strategy, activities, and service delivery model in a legal specialist and generalist area of focus. In this role, you provide strategic legal support to the legal business unit, region and global stakeholders and work closely with them to ensure legal concepts and implications are understood and related legal and operational risks are assessed. You will operate systems and technologies relevant to the area of support, prepare documents, gather information, and interact with business partners to deliver objectives and provide expertise and experience in a legal specialty area to identify and advise on laws and regulatory changes for a given country and/or across multiple countries.

• Analizar cambios legislativos relevantes aplicables a los bienes de consumo masivo, regulación de alimentos y bebidas entre otros.

• Desarrollar e implementar capacitaciones relacionadas con leyes y cambios legislativos que por su relevancia pudieran afectar al negocio.

• Proporcionar asesoría legal en relación con todas las actividades promocionales y de marketing (en especial social media, digital, y comercio electrónico), desarrollo de nuevos productos, etiquetado, promociones, etc.

• Asegurar la adecuada protección de la propiedad intelectual en México junto con el Senior Counsel y el Equipo Global de IP.

• Proveer servicios legales al equipo de operaciones para siete sitios de manufactura en México en materias tales como ambiental, agua, salud, energía, seguridad del trabajo, etc. Incluyendo seguimiento de visitas/inspecciones de autoridades y soporte legal en trámites administrativos, coordinación de litigios, cumplimiento de regulación aplicable a la operación de manufactura en distintos estados de la república.

• Proveer servicios legales al equipo de compras, relacionados con todo tipo de transacciones, incluyendo la revisión, asesoría, estructuración, negociación y elaboración y seguimiento de contratos de compraventa y adquisición de bienes y servicios directos, indirectos, transporte, ingeniería de sitios de manufactura, entre otros.

• Trabajar de la mano con Relaciones Corporativas y de Gobierno en la interpretación de leyes y regulaciones complejas, proporcionado explicaciones entendibles y concisas; apoyar a negociar convenios con asociaciones y entidades gubernamentales necesarios para la colaboración de la compañía con instituciones públicas y/o privadas.

Requerimientos:

  • Mínimo 3 años de experiencia laboral en una empresa.

  • Preferentemente brindando asesoría legal a equipos de operaciones y/o Marketing.
