You will assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will help ensure that Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelēz standards in execution are followed.

How you will contribute

The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and you will support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

More About This Role

We are looking for the Project Engineer who will take the role to manage the design, facilities / utilities tasks and construction activities in relation to the new investment projects in Mondelez plant.

Key responsibilities and scope:

  • Being a part of the Project Management Office, responsible for the key projects in plant investment road map

  • Performing the overall day-to-day management of multiple tasks to ensure that project objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints

  • Managing the engineering stream of the project in areas of responsibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering / process engineering / food industry and/or project management is preferred

  • At least 2-3 year of work experience in project management is required

  • Project Management experience (in large scale projects) is preferred

  • Industrial project experience is preferred

  • Previous experience in leading, motivating and engaging teams preferred

  • Knowledge of AutoCad

  • Ability to work independently and drive results critical

  • Working experience with multinational teams and stakeholders is an asset

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Communicative level of Bulgarian is required

  • Written and spoken English to a professional business level is a must

Education / Certifications:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering / process engineering / food industry and/or project management

Please note this position in based in Kazichene and it requires relocation to our plant in Kazichene, Bulgaria. We understand the significance of such a move and are committed to providing support throughout the cross-country relocation process where applicable.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
