Position Overview:

We currently have two exciting opportunities into a newly created growth focus for our Business, Brand Manager and Senior Brand Manager – Licensing. In the role you will be responsible for helping build the overall vision and execution for the Mondelez licensing program to generate new revenue opportunities whilst bring our iconic brands into new categories across multiple channels. As a key member of the ANZ category team, these roles are provide a unique opportunity to work across the total Mondelez brand portfolio including CADBURY, OREO, PASCALL, THE NATURAL CONFECTIONARY COMPANY, PHILADELPHIA whilst have the opportunity to make a positive material impact on our consumers’ lives, Mondelez Snacking Category and your career.

Position Accountability Summary:

Senior Brand Manager – Licensing

  • Supports creating the overall vision and execution for the Mondelez licensing program

  • Develop and lead licensed brand strategies across categories

  • Be proactive in sourcing and generating new revenue opportunities

  • Working closely key licensing partners and assist in the negotiating both new and renewal agreements with licensors

  • Marketing communications development & management

  • Product development & management with licensed parties

  • Partners with core brand partners owners on their brand led strategies to bring these to life

  • Support periodic license review meeting and performance

  • P&L responsibility

Brand Manager - Licensing

  • Supports in the development of Brand & portfolio plans by segment

  • Supports contract development and governance

  • Supports in the development of marketing communications & management with licensing partners

  • Supports licensed brand strategies across categories and leads internal engagement

  • Supports away from home channel business opportunities

  • Innovation management & project management

  • Brand & business performance reporting for team. Monthly tracking of licensed parties performance

  • Budget tracking and monitoring


Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge:

To be successful in these roles, you will have a tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business/Arts/Law with experience in consumer goods industry including marketing management experience. You have a solid understanding of consumer and customer behaviour with razor sharp consumer Identification & translation and strong brand foundations. Additionally you are customer driven with very strong stakeholder skills with proven track record in working in a matrix category model with local, regional/global and externals stakeholders.

If you are either a current Senior Brand Manager/or equivalent and have experience in Licensing, who can hit the ground running but also bring fresh thinking and experience into our business, then we want to hear from you. These Licensing roles require demonstrated knowledge of consumer insights, brand management, product development, consumer marketing, retail product marketing and sales, ideally with experience expanding brand strategies into the licensing industry. You are also comfortable with dealing with ambiguity and standing alone!
