You execute the regulatory affairs strategy for your respective categories and geographical area using your technical and regulatory expertise. You ensure the regulatory and policy compliance of our portfolio and ensure policies, regulatory programs and requirements are met.

How you will contribute

You will implement the regulatory affairs strategy and work with cross-functional teams to anticipate regulatory business risks and opportunities. In addition, you will provide regulatory affairs expertise for technical regulatory developments and help with responses to challenges and crisis management. In this role, you will ensure that ingredients, product composition, claims and labelling is in compliance with regulations and company policies, provide guidance to stakeholders on regulatory affairs, propose and implement business solutions in response to regulatory changes, and maintain and develop a strong knowledge of regulatory, scientific and nutrition risks and opportunities in your corresponding market.

More about this role

This position is based in Mexico, responsible for assuring Compliance for all markets where the Ricolino´s portfolio is comercialized. Reporting directly to Regulatory Candies Coordinator in Mexico. This position requires ensuring all projects and Regulatory activities assigned are executed and delivered efficiently, in a timely manner, and are fully compliant with applicable regulations. Position will have no direct reports.

Main Responsabilities

1.Lead activities for assuring regulatory compliance for USA / Mexico candies projects-, interacting, supporting and alerting the category about regulatory issues and its impacts.

2.Lead input of artworks review and approval, applying the current regulations.

3.Be accountable for consolidate and upload information requested by customers, needed to commercialize the portfolio in USA and others markets as needed.

4. Identify and escalate risks and issues to the Regulatory Leadership team and the business driving potential resolution as needed.

5.Develop tools to crush complexity ,simplifying and harmonizing processes with the RA team and Regulatory Center.

6.Take personal responsibility for personal growth, driving team collaboration, and finding new, improved, and simpler ways to work.

7.Plan and execute work plans and maintain strong and fluid relationship with the R&D, Marketing, legal teams.

8.Interact with SA affairs to provide the regulatory perspective for MX and USA emerging and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

1.Min 3 years of experience in Regulatory or related field (Quality, R&D)at a global food manufacturer

2. Bachelors, Masters or equivalent in relevant field (Food Science, Nutrition or Food Engineer)

3. Knowledge in Mexican regulations and FDA. US REGULATIONS

4. Strong attention to detail with a passion to continous improvement of technical skills and to crash complexity in a proactive way.

4. Ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders.

5. Proficient in all required languages skills (english and spanish) and translation.
