You will support the I2M and IIM process for site / cluster and ensure effective planning and execution of change as it relates to new and existing products, packaging and processes for a plant or cluster. At the plant level you will work on change management and innovation management capabilities.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Support Project Development / Execution: Support I2M/IIM (Innovation 2 Market; Initiative Management) within the site; Provide site AR write ups & prepare critical site inputs to the Regional BD, specifically for IIM Design Reviews (DR2 – DR6); Leads Project Verification (DR7); Design Reviews (DR4) onward lead Plant activities: Master data, Art Work, Raw/Pack Material availability, Track timings – and report to project team. Act as the source of internal and external information (contact for Commercial stakeholders and is the key interface between Category and Engineering / Manufacturing / R&D). Lead site post project evaluation and communication, planning and execution of promotional activities within the I2M process

  • Support Site Strategic Plan / Annual Contract creation: Support the site director in developing the site strategy and plant road map. Be the key partner for Product Supply team on sourcing/capacity expansion – ensure full integration of Innovation/Renovation plans in 421 into site supply plans. Partner effectively with Engineering to build the site CAPEX budget. Ensure planning of the capital budget bottom up, including prioritization (i.e. integration with the full site agenda, specifically alignment of the annual timetable)

  • Drive Ongoing business and Simplification: Integrate overall site change management agenda to ensure delivery of projects while maintaining service levels. Manage ongoing reprioritization, De-complexity agenda and support the delivery of the site productivity and improvement agenda. Ensure execution of regional /global menu cards and ensure that manufacturing hurdle rates are met. Support Product supply for assessment of manufacturing solutions for current supply and demand gaps in the site

  • Lead, coach and build Capability of the Business development change coordinator(s) within the plant and other Key stakeholders.

  • Strong operational & manufacturing experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standard

  • Good understanding of end-to-end processes in the manufacturing and business environment; working knowledge of commercialization process (I2M); project leadership / management skills and technical and financial aspects of the business

  • Strategic thinking, while having ability to excel in leading tactical programs

  • Highly action oriented, drive for results, innovative, challenging actual set-ups, entrepreneurial ability

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment

  • Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving and team building

Our goal is to strive for zero breakdowns and efficient maintenance costs. This role will have a strong focus on advancing the PM (Progressive Maintenance) Pillar, PM and CBM (condition based monitoring) technologies, MRO (Maintenance, Repairs & operations/ spare parts) management, SAP PM module utilization, and skill development. To define success, we will use key metrics including injury rate, GE (equipment reliability), MTBF (mean time between failures), %PM/CBM completion, PM Pillar progress, inventory value and accuracy, fixed cost management (spare parts, contract services, emergency purchases, labor).

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Experience in Controls & Automation

  • Demonstrated experience leading a union maintenance organization.

  • Experience in food industry.

  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement process such as TPM and Lean Manufacturing.

  • Proven PM (Progressive Maintenance) expertise, including Planned Maintenance and Condition Based Maintenance.

  • Understands GMP (Good Manufacturing Principles), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and SSE principles.

  • PC skills – MS Office package as end user and SAP PM Module a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to make major and rapid changes to a strong legacy organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to improve parts management and purchasing.

  • Project management is a plus

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

Job specific requirements:

  • Improve maintenance skills for good maintenance process performance as well as the continuous improvement and autonomous maintenance tools needed for maintenance and improvements in the production process.

  • Participation of the Progressive Maintenance pillar responsible for the methodology breakdown in all areas of the site; support, coaching and auditing of PM teams as well as discipline and compliance with defined standards.

  • Strengthen and ensure compliance with company standards, rules and policies, safety, quality, and maintenance standards of the production process.

  • Manage predictive, preventive, scheduled corrective and refurbishment of machinery and equipment to maintain operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

  • Manage predictive, preventative, and scheduled corrective maintenance plans for machines and equipment through history and trends.

  • Ensure teams generate corrective work orders from critical preventive maintenance and CBM reviews.

  • Manage the schedule for the reform of machinery and equipment, through reports and information from PCP (Production Planning and Control).

  • Maintain the operational efficiency of machinery and equipment through compliance with preventive maintenance programs and renovations.

  • Support management of suppliers for contracted maintenance.

  • Manage documented information for predictive and preventive maintenance, basic equipment operating conditions and improvements implemented in the production and related areas.

  • Coordinate training for maintenance and operations on operating conditions and improvements implemented in production area and related equipment.

  • Optimize the maintenance management tool (SAP PM) for the control and planning of hours worked, work orders, spare parts requisition and auxiliary materials for the execution of services.

  • Manage spare parts of equipment, supporting improvements in cycle count accuracy, inventory levels and turn away’s.

  • Manage the creation of documented information on basic equipment operating conditions and improvements implemented in the production and related areas.

  • Support the application of GII Pillar Methodology (Innovation and Initiative Management) to new projects.

  • Lead projects and investments in accordance with Matrix RACI Engineering and Maintenance responsibilities.

  • Support and participate in systemic and improvement groups as per the Master Plan of the Progressive Maintenance pillar or other pillars of the Integrated Systems methodology.

  • Manage maintenance costs (Maintenance costs).

  • Promptly serve internal and external customers whenever requested by GDD (Day to Day Management).

  • Take care of the order, storage and conservation of materials and equipment.

Monday to Friday, on site.
