As a member of the Scientific & Regulatory Affairs European team you will provide support to the regulatory services related to the entire product development and commercialisation cycle, for the Western European Chocolate portfolio assuring that the product recipes and labels are compliant with relevant EU legislation as well as our corporate policies.You will also support quality activities related to Supply Chain reconfiguration programs to make sure that products will be moved according I2M process, without compromising quality and food safety rules.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review raw material, FOR and product specifications

  • Interact and communicate as a regulatory partner with multiple functions, work in close cooperation with product/ packaging development, marketing, supply chain, quality, country management and product change partners in our business units and plants

  • Approve artwork for regulatory compliance using the SGS system

  • Support Consumer relations teams and regional Regulatory Affairs teams with queries regarding our products

  • Create product information for pack including ingredient declarations, allergen information and nutrition labelling for the European market

  • Reviewing claims for products, adverts and publicity on a local level

  • Assist in the implementation of new legislation changes (VCOOL) into the business under guidance from management

  • Participating in projects – medium/large scale – supporting the senior team members

  • Conducting nutritional, labelling and rework assesments with close cooperation with R&D department

Qualifications

  • University degree in Food or Nutrition Science/ Technology, Food Chemistry or similar field

  • Working experience in Regulatory Affairs or a Quality function is preferred

  • Experience in an international and multifunctional environment is preferred

  • Sound skills in standard office software

  • Used to working to deadlines and attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Fluency in English; other languages (French, German) are beneficial

This is a short term contract for 16 months.
